Experiential projects are in their relative infancy. Detailed operational experience and learnings from long term operation of specialist experiential projects, facilities, buildings and tracks is invaluable in avoiding change orders and on-costs. Even the best designs require on site real time adjustment to react to new information or unanticipated site factors, or updates to security and track safety requirements that become apparent. It is more effective to do this in the field in real time than to correct it after construction is complete. Building approval can have significant impacts upon the customer journey if not managed sensitively upfront.
